Samaria Rose Farm hosted our first ever distilling workshops for 2 lots of about 16 home schooling children and their parents in October. We were fortunate that the sun was beginning to shine over the citrus orchad a little more regularly. This created the perfect opportunity to collect and distill lemons then bitter oranges.
With farm walks, orientering, farm bingo and Japanese curry and sushi for lunch the kids and their parents had a great time. It was a really terrific experience to share our essential oils with such curious young minds.
